After almost three years writing, arranging and producing the album, interrupted by a spinal injury and a global pandemic, it was mixed at Cookie Jar Studio's in LA by Brian Malouf (Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder) and mastered at the infamous Abbey Road Studio's in November 2021.
(on the 90th anniversary of its opening, it just so happened).
As an independent artist, working in this world-renowned studio with the expertise of Geoff Pesch (who has mastered records for everyone from Tina Turner and Bowie to Kylie Minogue, Ed Sheeran & Adele), was a huge career milestone for me and the warmth of the vintage, analog gear has added an extra touch of magic to a record that I am so proud of.
I was told in December that Geoff had selected me for Abbey Road's 2021 Roundup as his choice of
"most exciting new artist coming in 2022" and his "favourite project of 2021" out of hundreds of major label projects he's worked on this year... wow! Thank you Geoff.
